Greenwich Maritime Classes

We are lucky enough to be able to teach Belly Dance to the staff at the Queen's House in the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. In 2010 this class will now open to the public, too!

Time: 5:30 til 6:30pm

The Level is BeginnersPLUS or Improver, which means Cara will teach a slightly more complex set of moves, however there is always revision of Beginner Moves, especially at the beginning of term so absolute beginners are welcome but must email first.

The Beginners DVD is a recommended companion with this course.

MEN ARE WELCOME but must book with Cara first, as it is a Female Only class at present, but they are happy for it to be mixed with prior warning.

Please wear comfortable clothes such as a long flowy skirt, or tracksuit bottoms. A t-shirt and a warm top (layers) are recommended - as you'll possibly feel colder at the start of the warm-up or end of the cool-down.

You may dance bare foot or in jazz shoes/ballet shoes - NO outdoor footwear may be worn during class (to keep floor clean and to spare the other dancers' toes!)

N.B. Booking is essential for this class, as the location can be changed at short notice if there is an event in the Queen's House. Please leave your Mobile Number and Email Address when booking for this class.
